Eleventh Step Toward Riches
When I was a young adult, I didn't learn about the subconscious mind until I was in college. When people spoke about the conscious, it wasn't about the mind, it was about “being conscious”. For example, after an accident, the doctors would say they are conscious; the person is awake, they are aware of something. The subconscious is the part of the mind that the person is not aware of; you don't consciously know.
I sometimes think, that if people taught their children about the subconscious, they would grow up to be more aware of their thoughts and thereby more successful (in all aspects of their lives). But many adults themselves, don't know what the subconscious mind is.
Napoleon wrote; “You can not entirely control your subconscious mind, but you can voluntarily hand over to it any plan, desire, or purpose which you wish transformed into concrete form.” He continued, “Remember, your subconscious mind functions voluntarily, whether you make any effort to influence it or not. This naturally, suggests to you that thoughts of fear and poverty, and all negative thoughts serve as stimuli to your subconscious mind unless, you master these impulses and give it more desirable food upon which it may feed”.
Those emotions you want to nurture and feed to yourself AND your children would be: Desire Faith, Love, S_x, Enthusiasm, Romance, and Hope. By demonstrating these positive emotions to your children, they will grow up happy and healthy adults, who then demonstrate them to your grandkids.
By being aware of your emotions, keeping them positive, those emotions will eventually become second nature. And they will be emotions that will occupy your mind. Because negative and positive emotions can not occupy the mind at the same time,
