Chapter 6 Imagination: The
Workshop of the Mind
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview for
life’s coming attractions.”Albert Einstein
The imagination is literally the workshop wherein are fashioned
all plans created by man. The impulse, the DESIRE is given shape,
form, and ACTION through the aid of the imaginative faculty of the mind.
MAN’S ONLY LIMITATION, within reason, LIES IN HIS DEVELOPMENT AND USE
OF HIS IMAGINATION.
Imagination ignites passion. Go to chapter one, Edward Barnes had to
imagine himself in business with Thomas Edison. That Imagination became a
burning desire, put him on a freight train like a hobo, to stand in front
of Edison declaring “I am here to be a business partner with you.” Remember,
“Dreaming of what can be, allows us to tap into our imaginations again,
reminding us what it feels like to be passionate about something.”
Imagination and thoughts create our future. It was Michael Dlouhy's
Imagination and thoughts that moved him to leave that meeting in
Houston, TX feverously writing, outlining, planning, and organized
the system we have today. Here again remember‘thoughts become things’
and our imaginative muscle is the very thing that helps make that possible.
Let us not stay immersed in what is directly in front of us but, to
venture into our imagination to focus on the reality that we want to
experience, the energy is set in motion and magnificent change can occur.
Imagination stimulates creativity and innovation. “The creative
faculty becomes more alert, more receptive to vibrations from
the sources mentioned, in proportion to its development through
use. Both the synthetic and creative faculties of imagination
become more alert with use, just as any muscle or organ of the
body develops through use.” (Napoleon Hill) Just think of how the
most influential and innovative creations have come from the
simple act of imagining something bigger, easier, or more beautiful.
Imagination is magical. It is the magic which leads to the
transformation of the intangible impulse, of DESIRE, into the
tangible reality, of MONEY. Yes, it does call for the use of a
plan, or plans which for formed with the aid of the imagination,
and mainly, with the synthetic faculty.

which one must begin. It is that definiteness of purpose which
takes on animation, life, and power when backed by a BURNING
DESIRE to translate that purpose into its material equivalent.”
