The people who risked their lives for our country and staked their lives by signing the Declaration Of Independence is a much bigger risk than building a network marketing business! Some of the people are fallen and never return home. Tom Big Al Schrieter mention the words "Did anybody die?", then that is not a problem.
Because money can be replaced, friends can be replaced, vacation can be made up if necessary but a life can NOT be replaced! So why do we allow excuses? Because subconsciously we are too concerned what other people think of us! If we knew that we could not fail then how would we live our life? We would give up the good so tommorow we can have the great!

The person who desires riches in the same spirit that Samuel Adams desired freedom for the Colonies, is sure to accumulate wealth.” Hill
Hill also goes on to tell us that the fifty-six men who signed the Declaration of Independence STAKED THEIR LIVES on the DECISION to affix their signatures to that document. Makes me wonder why we as network marketers cower in fear about the possibility of someone saying no to our opportunity? ( preaching to myself ) That is nothing compared to the decision they made.
As I reread the story about the bravery and urgency of the decision-making of those 56 men I just got filled with gratitude more so that ever this time around. Thankful for MY FREEDOM that I will celebrate in two days officially but I celebrate it everyday somewhat and never take it for granted. Why? Because it took a huge decision and then the sacrifice to pay the price because of that decision.
I am so grateful for the people who made that decision to serve our country and the spouses that supported that decision, it's not easy for them a lot of times either. They risked their lives, loss of limbs and family relations for me. In my teenage years there was no decision-making about serving the country, there was a war going on in Vietnam and you were either drafted or you ran to Canada as some did. I was about 150 numbers away from being drafted when they canceled the draft but was prepared to go if they called me. Later on in life I had regrets that I didn't volunteer to serve and always wish that I did but nevertheless always had extreme gratitude and respect for the ones who did. I LOVE MY COUNTRY! And I am extremely thankful for the ones in blue also who made a decision to serve to protect at a small wage and with little respect sometimes it seems. I am also thankful for a president now that does respect our military and law enforcement and stands up for both!
Not so much the self serving politicians who’s primary goal is to make a career out of that position. I say two terms and then back to the farm like it used to be. Hill says “This is important. (Racketeers and dishonest politicians have prostituted the honor for which such men as Adams died).” And I would include our military in the same context as those 56 men.
Hill says that decisions made in a similar spirit of Faith as those 56 men, and only by such decisions, can men solve their personal problems, and win for themselves high estates of material and spiritual wealth. Let us not forget this!
