Chapter 9 - Persistence
Hill tells us in the first sentence of this chapter that
"PERSISTENCE is an essential factor in the PROCEDURE of
transmuting DESIRE into its monetary equivalent. The basis
of persistence is the POWER OF WILL.
Will-power and desire, when properly combined, make an irresistible pair.
The Dictionary describes "Procedure" as:
- a particular way of accomplishing something or of acting,
- a series of steps followed in a regular definite order; and
- a traditional or established way of doing things.
Willpower is described as "energetic determination".
Every Network Marketing company has a procedure they
teach their Distributors on how to build their business.
When we join Mentoring for Free we have a second procedure
on how to build our Network Marketing business.
If we follow the "procedure" we will be successful. The problem
arises when we change the procedure because we think we know
better; when we only use a part of the procedure; when we decide
we don't like the procedure and decide we will do it, as
Bing Crosby sang, " MY WAY".
It is our choice on how we decide to build our business and we
should also in that choice take responsibility for the outcome
if we choose to do it "MY WAY". We can be persistent in the wrong
just as we can be persistent in the right.
Fran Lebowitz has stated "Contrary to popular opinion, the hustle
is not a new dance step - it is an old business procedure."
