Chapter 6 - Imagination
One of the definitions of "Imagination" in the dictionary is
"the act or power of forming a mental image of something not
present to the senses or never before wholly perceived in reality."
As I read this, I was reminded of what Michael Dlouhy tells us
"If you knew you could not fail, how differently would you live
your life."
Have we really perceived in reality the things we desire? Have we
really formed that mental image of what is not present in our
lives now, but what we want to be in our lives, our desires?
Albert Einstein was quoted as saying "Logic will get you from A to B.
Imagination will take you everywhere."
As Hill has stated "First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ideas
and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning,
as you will observe, is in your imagination."
Is it just a game for us and we look at it as something we should be doing
or is it the "tool" in our toolbox that will ignite the big dream we have
inside us?
As Brian Tracy has stated "All successful people men and women are big
dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect,
and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that
goal or purpose."
Michel Dlouhy has said one of his desires is to help 10 people surpass his
in business.
Henry Ford has stated "The man who will use his skill and constructive
imagination to see how much he can give for a dollar, instead of how
little he can give for a dollar, is bound to succeed."
What is our dream? Do we see it, feel it, and taste it? Is it a reality
in our mind?
